This month we’re shining the spotlight on the holistic wellness practice run by Dawn Belden-Hope and her daughter Amanda Scharnberg.

Who?

With nine locations across California the Thermography Center dedicates itself to making a useful contribution to proactive and preventative healthcare within the community.

The small, experienced team offer breast imaging, women’s health check screening as well as full body screening. The 100% non-invasive and radiation free imaging is promoted as part of a proactive approach to maintaining overall health and wellness.

Owner and Level II certified thermographer Dawn Belden-Hope has been running the business since 2011 with a focus on the holistic approach, she says, “We help people see their bodies in such a way that they become proactive agents, along with their doctors support, in their healing and healthcare”.

Dawn works in partnership with daughter Amanda who qualified as a Level I thermographer in 2017.

What sets the practice apart?

The Thermography Center provides a holistic consultation at the time of every patient’s appointment and thermography reports include a list of preventative and proactive health suggestions.

“We strongly encourage all clients to follow up with their doctor or holistic healthcare practitioner regarding their findings. If they don’t have a doctor, we make referrals so our clients feel very supported in regard to their findings.  We don’t want any of our clients to feel lost in terms of next steps, and offer free clarifying questions regarding their report findings.

We also offer phone consultations and Wellness Plans to the clients who prefer to receive further guidance and more support regarding their Thermography Reports.  Our comprehensive Wellness Plan includes suggestions for herbs, supplements, lifestyle changes, stress reduction support, detoxification protocols and targeted immune help.  Our clients may also choose to schedule an appointment with one of our radiologists in order to understand their report findings from the doctor who interpreted their images”, Dawn said.

The Thermography Center also welcomes patients who are financially challenged as well as collaborating with organizations that offer scholarships. Dawn has also worked closely with the United Breast Cancer Foundation, who generously offer their services on a sliding scale for those patients who most need it.
